This house wrap application is designed to protect the framing and the insulation systems from moisture and condensation. AYR-FOIL™ will give you all the functionality of conventional house wraps with the added benefits of a radiant barrier.





AYR-FOIL™ reflective insulation and radiant barriers are vapor retarders. In northern climates and regions where Heating Degree days are above 4000, we recommend using a perforated radiant barrier (foil-foil, foil-Kraft). If you use our bubble foil insulation, do not seal the joints.

1. Hold a roll of AYR-FOIL™ in position, at one corner of the building.
2. Unroll the insulation along the exterior wall, nailing or stapling to studs or sheathing, to top and bottom sills.
3. Always pull the AYR-FOIL™ snug before fastening.
4. Eliminates condensation problems.
5. Wrap completely around the buildings, covering window and door openings, plates, sills and corners. Cut an “X” in window and door openings. Pull the fabric inside, fold over excess and fasten.
